About AI News Online & how we work
AI News Online publishes one story a day. Not twenty headlines — one development in artificial intelligence that actually matters, explained so that anyone can follow it and specialists still learn something.
Read at your depth
Every explainer is layered. You can stop at any layer and still walk away with a correct understanding:
- In 60 seconds — the three things to know.
- The plain-English version — no jargon, everyday analogies.
- How it actually works — the mechanism, for the curious.
- The deep dive — architecture, math, numbers and trade-offs, for practitioners.
- What to be skeptical of — limitations, missing evidence, conflicts of interest.
- A short quiz — because explaining something back is how knowledge sticks.
AI disclosure — exactly how a story is made
- Each morning an AI research agent (Anthropic's Claude, the newest model available) surveys the previous day's AI papers, launches and announcements and picks the single most consequential one, avoiding topics we already covered.
- It reads the primary sources — the paper, the official announcement, the code, the model card — plus independent reactions, and writes the layered explainer with every key claim linked to a source.
- A separate AI fact-check pass re-opens the sources and checks numbers, names, dates and claims. Anything it cannot verify is removed or explicitly flagged as uncertain. Stories that fail the check are not published.
No human writes the daily articles. We say so plainly because you deserve to know, and because the sources are always listed so you can verify anything yourself.
